Enrolment and Fees

We would love to show you around. Phone the school on (08) 8386 2093 between 9:00am and 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, and we will take your details and answer your questions.

Are we your local school?

Enrolment is guaranteed for families whose local school we are.

Check your local school

If Old Noarlunga Primary School comes up first on that page, you are guaranteed a place here.

Families outside our zone are still welcome to register their interest. There is no guarantee of a place, so we recommend you also apply at your own local school.

Starting Reception

  • A child who turns 5 on or before 30 April starts Reception at the beginning of that school year.
  • A child who turns 5 between 1 May and 31 October starts at the beginning of Term 3 that year.
  • A child who turns 5 after 31 October starts at the beginning of the following year.

We are currently at capacity, so Reception places are being offered to local families only.

How offers work

Round 1 offers go to local families from the beginning of August.

Round 2 offers go to non-local families in September, and only where places remain.

Questions about either round go to the office on (08) 8386 2093 or dl.0313.info@schools.sa.edu.au.

If you are offered a place and do not want it, please tell us straight away — it lets us offer it to somebody else. Families accepting an offer, including siblings starting next year, bring their paperwork to the office and collect an enrolment pack.

Siblings of students already enrolled here are guaranteed a place.

What to bring

Before we can offer a place, we need to see:

  • The child's official birth certificate or extract
  • A passport, or a travel document such as a visa, citizenship certificate or ImmiCard
  • Centrelink or other official government documentation showing the child's name and date of birth
  • Proof of where the family lives

For proof of address, that means a recent gas or electricity bill for the property, together with either a contract of sale or a recent council rates notice, or, if renting, a rental agreement covering the first 12 months at the school and a bond receipt lodged with Consumer and Business Services.

A contract of sale or rates notice on its own is not enough. Renting a room rather than a whole property does not count as a primary residence.

Shared care and other arrangements

Where parents are separated, a child usually attends the school closest to the home of the parent who has the majority of their day-to-day care. We will need supporting documentation — court orders, Centrelink documentation and the like — before enrolment is confirmed.

If a child lives with a relative or friend, we may ask for a parenting order from the Family Court showing legal guardianship, unless the Principal has determined the child meets the requirements for an informal relative carer.

Principal's tours

We run tours several times a year. While we are at capacity, tours are for families eligible to enrol. Phone (08) 8386 2093 to find out when the next one is.
