Small school,
big heart.
Public education in the township of Old Noarlunga for over 160 years. Reception to Year 6.
Welcome
We are a small school on the edge of the Onkaparinga River National Park, and our size is the thing families notice first. Every child here is known by name. Every teacher knows the family behind the child.
Public education has been offered on this site since 1859. What that gives us is a school that belongs to its township — where the river, the park and the old village are not a backdrop but part of the week: Bush School for the younger years, kayaking and tree planting for the older ones.

At a glance
Four values, four locals
Our student leaders chose an animal from the river and the hills around us to stand for each of our values.

Respect
Red-bellied Black Snake
Shy rather than fierce — a reminder to respect each other and the land we live on.

Responsibility
Rainbow Lorikeet
Both birds of a pair build the nest and feed the family. The work is shared.

Resilience
Koala
Living on leaves that would poison anything else. Hard conditions, met.

Empathy
Western Grey Kangaroo
Social animals that play, communicate and look out for one another.
