Communication
Old Noarlunga Primary School uses a handful of ways to keep families informed. Between them they should cover everything — but if something is unclear, ask.
Whole school
- Our Facebook page carries public news and events.
- News, events, notes, calendars and absences go through the Sentral Parent Portal.
- Fortnightly newsletters cover classroom learning and school activities in detail.
- Assemblies celebrating student learning are held on Fridays, every three weeks, from 9:00am.
From your child's classroom
Your child's teacher will be in touch regularly about their learning and development.
- Day-to-day classroom learning comes home through the Seesaw app, which is also the quickest way to reach the class teacher.
- Acquaintance Night is held in the first three weeks of Term 1, covering class expectations and processes.
- A class newsletter goes out in the first week of every term.
- Parent-teacher interviews are held in Weeks 8 and 9 of Term 1.
- Written reports are issued at the end of Terms 2 and 4.
If you have a question
Contact your child's classroom teacher first, and arrange a time that suits you both. Communication is fundamental to good relationships, and we work to keep ours consistent, clear and convenient.
